Quindío
Quindío is a small department of Colombia in South America, with just 1,845 square kilometers, located in the center-west, Andean region of that coffee country. Its lands are some of the best on the continent due to the high content of volcanic ash that physically and chemically disintegrated in the soil for thousands of years, which produced greater amounts of nutrients and water retention.
In fact, due to the richness of its land and the variety of its climate, Quindío is the green jewel of America. There, the landscape is expressed in a symphony of multicolored nuances that has inspired poets and musicians who, in that land, emerge in bulk like the leaves of the trees in spring.
